Nurse Assistant Working in ER at Barnabas One Year Out of High School

 

John Branco is a graduate of East Side High School in Newark and completed the YTTW program in 2015. He is currently working in the ER at Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston where he works 20+ hours a week. John loves the nursing field and is excited to be a part of a dynamic learning environment at such a young age.

 

“The ER is the ideal classroom. In just one year I have seen multiple cardiac arrest cases, emergency pregnancies, and multiple other medical cases. This would never have been possible without my admission to the YTTW program.”  

 

John is planning on attending nursing school soon and is currently working on his Associates Degree in Health Sciences at Essex County College.
